congratulations! may i ask how you found out she had cah. was she having a regular testing(some states do this) or did you notice a problem. i can not speak for you or for anyone else on this board but i can speak for myself - which is different bc most people here are parents- i am a patient. i have cah- a mild form - but i have been taking meds since i was diagnosed 20 years ago - and i am completley fine!!!! it has never stopped me from doing anything in my life- my mom was also very scared with me while growing up- everytime i got sick it was like a catastrophy for her- but i assure you it gets better - actually i hardly ever get sick anymore- it is rare- they say hyrocortison can make your immune system less but i find this to be opposite, ever since i was diagnosed i have improved with allergies and flus etc. i am married now and my doctor assures me i will be able to have children. i DO NOT look at this as "why me". it is just like ok - something different to deal with but you do deal with it. just be strong not only for yourself but for your daughter. good luck
