Wondering about son's growth...

I was just talking to my children's pediatrician about a few things. We were discussing my son who is 3 1/2 and what percentile he was in for height and weight. He has always been in the 80 to 90 percentile, mostly because of his weight. Oh yeah, he has salt wasting CAH. Anyway, my pediatrician said he will probably be at least 6 foot or more by the way he is growing. There are no men over 5'8" on my side of the family, and most on my husband's side are fairly short as well. The only tall one I know of is my husband's dad who may have cleared 6 feet. My question is, doesn't it seem hard to predict how tall a child will be, especially a CAH child? What if my son is growing too quickly because of improper medication? We do the blood work and every time we go for a visit, they increase it a little, but I can't help but feeling that maybe my ped is overlooking the CAH. Is it possible for my son to inherit some "tall" gene from his paternal grandfather?
