Hi, I am a 27 year old man with CAH. I had a smile when I read about your son's ideas about his blood, if only! It took me a very long time right into my teens to realise that treatment for CAH is for life. I like this sight as it gives me an insight into what my parents must have gone through when bringing me up. They always say there was no such help around in the seventies and were very much on there own. Your sons height sounds similar to mine. I was diagnosed at birth but only remember talk about my bone age during adolesence. I was 12 with a bone age of 16. My adult height is 5ft 3in and I have always been overweight although that fluctuates between 11 and 13 stone. I do not worry much about my height now there is not much I can do about it but make sure your son complies with his medication. I was erratic with it during adolesence and would have been a few inches taller if I had taken all my pills as instructed.Andrew
