Hi. Our daughter Renee is 8 years old and was diagnosed a year ago as a carrier for CAH. She had only mild symptoms of acne on her face. This year, her acne has become more severe and she has developed hair on her thighs. Her doctor is now recommending hydrocortisone treatment even though she is just a carrier. He believes that she has late onset CAH, also known as nonclassic CAH. So, we have begun to think that carriers can show the full symptoms of CAH.
