I am currently due to have a baby girl at any minute, literally. When I found out I was pregnant, I immediately started Dex (I have a 7 year old daughter non-salt wasting CAH, mild form, clitoral reduction at age 5). I had tons of side effects, but nothing unbearable. Large appetite, quick weight gain, unable to sleep at night but not tired during the day either. I had a CVS done and found I was carrying a non-cah daughter and stopped the dex. I then lost 15 pounds and had bouts with nausea for the next two months. During the last two months I only gained 5 more pounds making a total of 23 pounds. The doctors were happy with that (so am I since they say I'm carrying an 8 1/2 to 9 pound baby). I have also read of other women not having any side effects and some having really bad side effects.....everyone is different and the effects aren't long term!! Good luck.
