hi there, I am 18 and had the final lot of surgery at 14. I hated the dialation process, and this is extreamly common among the girls that are my age that had the surgery as well. The first chance we had the dialators were lost I tried to avaoid them as much as possible, but my parents knew better that that and enforced the use. I am glad they di as now that I have matured I have worries, and this is common as well...in relation to sexual intercourse and birth giving. I am affraid that the poening is too small etc. I and along with others are affraid of this and try to avoid talking to our parents as it is fairly embarressing in our sense even thought our parents are willing to discuss it. The dialation is important and should be done as required. It ay feel silly or degrading for people to have to do this as a young girl, but in privacy and a reasuring envrionment it is more acceptable. hopefully this will help u and your daughter....good luck with it.
