Kent, It was interesting to see your message about the knee pain. My CAH son is 41/2 and has complained for as long as I can remember about his knees. I have discussed it several times with all the pedi's at our peditricians office and also his endo. They tell me they can't find anything wrong and that a child his age shouldn't be experiencing growing pains. He is very active and they feel that he is just somewhat abusive to himself with all the rough play. He has had the bone age done every yr since birth and he has always stayed within a few months of his actual age. He has been growing very nicely at the 25% mark for both height & weight since birth. They have always been please with this as our daughter who is 27months older than he is only 5% on weight & 10% on height. No one in our families other than my dad is very large so I don't expect that our children will be. Just as a side note our son takes the same dosage as Debbies 4yr old son 2.5/2.5/5. We too were advised that the higher dose at night was necessary to surpress until morning. I agree with the other postings that I would have a bone age done to be sure.Judy
