I, too, have been told that there is no generic. The way our insurance works is like this. We pay $5 for generic, $20 for non-generic if a generic is available, and $15 for non-generic if no generic is available. So we pay 15. I posted a site below that you can get the Cortef my mailorder. The price was pretty close to what I pay with my insurance, so it is not a good option for me. It migh be worth checking into. It might also save you $$ to be on tablets instead of liquid.
