I was 12 when I had my second lot of surgery to open and develop a vaginal opening. I had to use a dialator for a fwe weeks ( well all that I anted to do) to kepp the opening from healing over.....but stretching the area is basically what is neded, and thsi i feel has been achieved satifactually. I had some foolow up exams under an anethetic where the surgeon dialated the vagina to see if it was properly done, this was a reasurring thing, but i was told my an endocrinologist in Melbourne that girls, after this corrective surgery, should see a gynocologist to talk things through and have an examination ( if needeed) before the first attemt at sexual intercourse. This information was excellent and i will surely follow it through. I am now 19 and haven't had any troubles with my surgery as of yet
