prenatal dexamethasone

I am seeking information about CAH and pregnancy and birth. At present, I am 27 weeks pregnant and have been taking dexamethasone since I was 5 weeks pregnant. My four year old son has CAH. I declined amniocentesis and plan to have my baby tested after birth to determine whether he or she is affected by CAH. I am planning to have my baby at home despite opposition from medical staff. I cannot find any literature which indiates that there is any risk of adrenal crisis at birth. At any rate, even if a problem did occur, I know what the answer is:- CORTISONE, something we have plenty of at our house. I really want the best for my baby, but suspect that I am being scaremongered by medical staff who are unsure themselves because CAH is fairly uncommon.
