Has anyone had any experience with hypertension (high blood pressur) and CAH? My daughter experience episodes last year and we tried altering her medication and that didn't work. We took per to a ped cardiologist and he found nothing wrong. Now we are noticing it again. Her readings have been 120/85, 115/90, and 122/82. They are not extremely high, but enough to concern her endocrinologist, her pediatrician, and us. It can't be the steroids because her last bloodwork showed them to actually be a little low and we just increased them (first two readings were before the increase). We are confused by this and want to know if anyone out there can give us any info on this? By the way, she is not a classic salt-waster; however, she does take Florinef and, of course, Hydrocortone.
