I went to the Magic conference that was in Chicago last month and found it to be a big help. Listening to the doctors expertise along with discussing with other members was very comforting. One problem that my wife and I have has been discussing CAH with our daughter. As matter of fact I went to chicago by myself and originally told my daughter that I was going there for business. Well when I came home I sat at the kitchen table with her and she asked me "no Daddy did you really go to Chicago for business only" I said ,"honey I went to a meeting of people who have what you have CAH, you know your not the only one with CAH" When I told her that she had such a smile of happiness and relief a tear came to my eye. Magic taught me to alot more open it is big start in right direction. Having an 11 1/2 year old female saltwasting involves alot emotional issues along with physical of course.
