Re: CAH board

I think all adults with CAH whether it's classical or nonclassical could benefit from each other. Everyone is born with it. Late onset only means it shows up at puberty, which can be as early as 7. I know we are not salt wasters or have the sex issues at birth, but in many cases we have the same issues, normal shortness, facial hair, and acne...etc.. I think there is some confusion about late onset which is a bad way to put it. We have it from birth it just manifests later. It's not as life theartening or as serious. It causes many of the same issues I read on this board. Many Doctors and new reports are dropping the late onset and just saying nonclassical and classical. We have the same cortisone problems it's just a milder case of classical. So we have the mutation and the cortisone blockage and it does the same with our hormones and andgrens. I hope this helps because I think we can all learn from each other.
