I have a 2yr old daughter who constantly has reoccuring fevers or temp fluctuations, ear infections, tonsillitis and congestion, we have only just left hospital this morning as a matter of fact. I too am constantly asking about allergies and have a very helpful chemist who suggested to try Benadryl and I have found it to be of some help. Kaela seems to get very wheezy and congested after being outside or in the late afternoon and has a horrible cough at night - maybe asthma? So we have tried nebulisers as well, without much success. The fevers are a very familiar thing to us, I have found that panadol suppositories do work, showers and sponge baths and then if all else fails, a shot of hydrocortisone at the hospital which is what has just happened to us along with tonsillitis. Sorry if message so long but your situation sounds very similar to mine, one tip - I have learnt to pick when she is really going down by her eyes, slightly red as if she is really tired. The best of luck to you.
