My 5-year-old CAH daughter will be starting kindergarten on Monday. I've met with the school nurse (we're blessed in that our school has one full-time) AND her teacher and explained, in brief, her condition. She wears a medic alert bracelet, as well. The staff at school were extremely nice and appreciated being informed. I simply told them that I would need to know if anything happened...even a simple fall on the playground....so I could determine whether or not extra cortisol should be administered. Her teacher even asked if there was anything she could do between the time Christina should fall and I could make the 3-minute trip to the school. I feel very confident that she'll be fine. Like the other parents on this board, I am eager to let my child be a child. She is signed up for soccer and can't wait! :)Karen
