i am a parent of a cah child. i do not believe that cah suppresses the immune system. i believe that it may do the apposite. my child rarely gets sick. what maybe is happening is that your child is being over medicated with other med's besides his cortef etc. you must let your child work through his colds on his own so his own natural defence can be built up.
