This is so interesting! My 3 year-old son has a gag reflex. It is not always, but mostly in the morning (taking meds) or if he is hungry and the site of food makes him gag. He sometimes throws up his meds so we have to start all over again, but he is usually able to keep it down after that. I found that giving him a drink of water before taking his meds in the morning usually helps. My endo remarked on his gag reflex, only stating that he had a good one, but that was with a tongue depressor. I guess I would gag, too.
