My son had 9 ear infections over the winter and I was concerned about this too. However, we had a blood test and his immune system was checked, and it is great. The doctor said it was just chance until he has developed resistance, so I don't believe there is a problem. We also had the same polio vaccine as all other kids have and he had no problems with that. Some kids just have problems anyway with, or without, CAH.
