Melinda, When you go before the school board, ask their policy on Epi-Pen injections for allergic reactions. Virtually everyone recognizes an anaphylactic reaction as life-threatening, so the schools do have policies for it. My daughter has an Epi-Pen at school in the office - our doctor and I had to fill out volumes of paperwork, but their are several staff members who are trained to give it if necessary (Thank God we have never had to use it). We live in Prince William County, VA. My daughter is being evaluated by an edocrinologist for Late CAH vs. premature adrenarche. She will have the testing next Friday so that we will know for sure.
