That's sort of like when you're pregnant and strangers feel you're fair game to feel your stomach! People are funny. Hopefully, your son's age is a factor in the questions...lots of people like to look at/ask questions about toddlers anyway....and they probably feel the medic alert bracelet gives them an opening. My daughter just turned 5 and has only been asked about it when she was in the hospital. I did have a stock answer prepared in my brain just in case someone asked: 'She has an adrenal condition that is rather complicated to explain...but thanks for asking.' Good luck.Karen
