Hi, My 3-year-old son has had bone x-rays since 1, also. The first ones he had at age one was a wrist, knees and ankles. He had just wrist x-rays done last year and is due to have them again in November. They have always been on the mark for age. He, too, is in the 75th percentile for growth. I have no real choice in endo's here in Maine, but my pediatric endo is great. He tracks everything really well. We have blood draws, i.e., renin and CAH profiles done every 3-4 months, unless he changes his meds, in which case he has them closer together. He was on the liquid hydrocortisone until age 2 and we were constantly chasing his blood levels and changing his doses. He finally switched him over to tablet form Cortef, 2.5 mg three times a day, and he has not had to change his doses in over a year. We tried going off the Florinef because the last renin was undetectable and they were thinking he may not be salt-wasting anymore, but they found that he is still "mildly" salt-wasting and put him back on 50 mcg a day. His stress doses are tripled. Anyway, good luck finding a doctor. I'm sure there are good ones out there. Tina S.
