My son has had a wrist xray avery year starting at the age of one. He has always been within the range for his age, but his height on the charts is about 10% percentile. Our endo says to double the dose for 24 hours it times of stress. That is all they did when he broke his leg and when he had rotavirus. Both cases had no crisis and he bounced back very quickly. While my son's height is troublesome to me, I can not argue that we are doing everything we should be doing. When labs are great, we try reducing, when they are not good, we adjust again. As long as he is within range and not showing accelerated growth, I will just accept that this is how thing are going to be for Kyle.Debbi
