Fortunately, we have note had any really rude questions in the 8 yrs since my daughter was diagnosed. She is currently 11. My daughter is also a non- salt waster. She takes hydrocortone (same as cortef) and florinef. My question to you is why your dr. put your child on florinef. My daughter has been taking it for about 6 yrs now in an effort to better control her bone age. It seems to be working. Please let me know why your daughter is taking it, because I have never heard of any other non salt waster taking this medication.
