Hi Chris... I have the 3 Beta HSD form of CAH and all throughout middle school was asked the same question. Now when people ask, I simply tell them that "I have 3 Beta Hydroxysteriod Dehydrogenes Deficiency", and if that hasn't detoured them and they still ask why, I say "I lack the stress releaving hormone and if put under mass amounts of stress I could go into a coma or die."... So I tell the entire truth, but in a short, sweet sentence or two. By that last comment, people usually look at me, say "oh" and don't ask anymore. Good Luck
