My husband thinks I am crazy bacause I always grab the Solu-Cortef almost everytime we go out the door. We have seen two different endocrinologists and they both downplay the Solu-Cortef. They call it a drug of convenience, for example if a child gets the flu. Our doctor says you have a matter of hours before a child would go into crisis and most hospitals can give this. I would be interested in hearing what other parents do. Thanks.
