Maybe my mom is the one who started the fear about bee stings with me. I always thought that if a person were allergic or had an allergic reaction to a bee sting or other bite, they could go into anaphalactic shock and die. Not knowing whether myself or my children are allergic, put a fear into me that may or may not be justified. I wasn't suggesting that the stress or pain of being stung by a bee would require a stress-dose, but more the fact that if my son were to have a reaction and go into shock, I would be giving him the best chance to fight and survive like a normal person. I think that is what my endo meant too.
