Thank you all, for your input. We saw the Dr. on Wednesday, who patiently dug out a little piece of ear wax, to find Thomas has an ear infection (something the E/R dr. didn't take the time to do the previous Friday. He was started on Augmentin, which will make his stools loose (he was diagnosed in the E/R with constipation - they recommended fruit juice as a first treatment, as the sugar will draw water into the bowel). However, he is still spiking a temperature, and his problem of not eating (unless almost coercing him with an offering of formula) from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. remains. However, he is taking enough ounces (33 recommended) to keep him out of the E/R. Has anyone had an eating problem when Florinef is decreased, and Cortef increased? We are to watch him this weekend. They were thinking today his electrolytes may be off, and we almost went to the E/R, but, then he took 6 1/2 ounces. This is soo hard! Thanks again, everyone, for your input.
