Ooops! I have a 6yr old boy who is experiencing stomach problems. We don't know if it is the Pediapred or if it is emotional stress. He seems to internalize stress, for example he was recently hospitalized and now he gets sick to his stomach before he goes to school each day. The school is contantly calling me. My son is not one to complain unless their is a problem. I finally got out of him that he is worried about getting sick at school. I have reassured him that I have spoke with all school personnel and they know how to take care of him should he get sick. I have read that emotional stress can be as bad as physical stress on CAH kids. Has anyone experienced this and how have you handled it? Thanks.
