My 8 yr old son with cah (salt-wasting form) has just had a pin put in his leg because of something called slipped capital femoral epiphysis. The doctors said that this probally happened because of his bones being weakened due to the cah. He has passically been healthy before this, but since this operation he got a ear infection that put him into a crisis which before he would handle with just a cortisone increase for three days. I'm just wondering if this is the begining of a long hard road with everything affecting him so extreme. If anyone has any advice or comments on my situation please e-mail me at snmdb@hotmail.com
