Anyone else have a boy in puberty? My son turns nine in 2 months. His endo said if he went into puberty before age 9 she advised the shots but if after turning nine we would let him go thru puberty. Well now he is in it and although he hates shots I can't help feeling he should have them. Although you can hide pubic hair and deal with pimples, I'm afraid he'll be shaving in 3rd grade and not want to go swimming because of underarm hair. When is the average age for boys? Do any of you have experience or advice? Also, I found it interesting reading one of the replies to this post that getting the shot can help growth? My son's endo did not tell me this. Any chance for him to be taller I feel is worth the shots alone! Thank you, Tonya
