My daughter turned 11 in August. We hope to be able to keep her on the shots through age 12 - so for two more years - if the insurance will allow it. There is always the fear that they may say that she is the proper age to go through puberty and that they will no longer cover the shots. Of course we are hoping that does not happen - the dr is saying 2 more years would be best.
