Does anyone here know, if there's a link between the two diseases? I was diagnosed with adrenal hyperandrogenemia 5 years ago. I got dexamethasone, which helped a lot. While my doc never made a right diagnoses (like CAH) I went to another one. He told me, that for testing I've to stop the medication and that he wouldn't recommend me. I've been anorexic in my teens after this I became bulimic. I read some articles about anorexia and CAH. What I don't understand: Does CAH causes anorexia sometimes or does anorexia causes endocrine problems? (note: I don't have anorexia/bulimia anymore, but still these endocrine problems). Thanks.
