I have also been told to give an injection when my son couldn't keep his meds down and to call him. I have also found that Tigan suppositories (prescription) help to keep the nausea and vomiting down. I have had to only give maybe four injections in his short 3 years, three times for vomiting and once because he couldn't swallow due to sore throat from croup. I have been told to always push the fluids when they are vomiting or have diarrhea, even if he vomits it back up.
