We bottlefed for feedings that required sodium and I breastfed for the others. This worked out great. I was able to nurse for comfort as well as nutrition. We had no nipple confusion at all. Except for when we tried out our teeth....Mommy squalked to the biting and the bottle didn't! hahaha At 13 months when the cup was introduced, he gave up the bottle and me at the same time (even though I was willing to keep that morning wake-up nursing session..sort of broke my heart). At any rate, I like to think that the few nursing sessions each day was more helpful than not getting any at all. As for your child's improvement, I have yet to hear of a CAH case like that. I mean, CAH has not cure....that is, if he was diagnosed properly with CAH correctly.
