Is anyone in Canada using 5 mg tablets of Hydrocortisone? I've just received some info from my pharmacist indicating that retail pharmacies cannot order 5 mg tabs here in Canada. In special "emergency" situations, a doctor can make a request to the Health Protection Branch of the Ministry of Health and if they feel the reason is legitimate they will "ok" the shipment of the medicine directly to the doctor. I've put a call in to Pharmacia Upjohn in Canada for more info. Just wondering if anyone in Canada is using the 5 mg tabs and if so, how are you obtaining them? Currently we are using liquid Hydrocortisone, stable for only 7 days (and very expensive too). Thank you in advance for any replies!!!!
