I'm in the USA so I can't tell you anything about Canada. But I can tell you that I asked my son's Endo why he put him on Prednisone instead of hydrocortisone when we couldn't get his cortisone acetate any more...he told me that hydrocortisone will soon become unavailable too & that is why he put him right on the prednisone. I must say we are very pleased with how it is working for him so far.
