there is nonclassical and classical CAH. The nonclassical is also called late onset and does not involve sexual organs to be different in most cases. I have nonclassical and I have no sexual problems. Some of the late onset people will have enlarged organs but not to the extreme of classical females and the males have none at all. i have found that being on cortisone has made me moody and depressed more. I think it helps me get off the rollercoaster of big highs and low lows. It must be a side-effect because many people with CAH talk about mood swings and mental disorders. I think in my opinion we should take something else for the mental and let cortisone work on our bodies. I have in the past taken a anti-depressant and it helped. After my baby it all crashed down like it does for many women. I don't know what to tell you except talk to your doctor and see if they can help you.. God Bless Susan
