I also plan to have an extra 2 week supply. Everything I have read and heard suggests that Y2K compliance is excellent and there shouldn't be any big, global problems. The danger is that people panic and start off chain reactions. Even the Red Cross has recommended treating Y2K like you would the threat of a natural disaster (this means supplies for 2 weeks.) I am more afraid of the people who are freaked out by Y2K than the actual computer issue that started this all.
