My daughter had a febrile seizure once when her temp got to 102.5 and it is something I would like not to see again. It only lasted about 3min but she shook and her eyes rolled back into her head so she didn't experience any stiffness. Apparently they are not as awful as they look, but I would suggest getting a brain scan now. Doctors sometimes just don't get the urgency and fear that us mom's have to go through. We are already faced with the uncertainty of CAH complications and when another factor comes into play it's a double whammy. If there is one thing that I have realized over the past 3 1/2yrs, it's that you need constantly demand that your needs and your childs needs are met. It no longer matters to me what the doctors think of me, because when all is said and done, my daughter is getting the attention that she deserves whether I'm neurotic or not.
