My son is 2 and a half and still sleeps with me. It isn't only for his security, but for my peace of mind, also. Several nights, after feeling well the whole day, I have been awakened just by his ice cold hand or foot. (He gets cold extremities with fevers.)He was already very ill. His fevers seem to come during the night and I would never have known to stress dose him.
