My baby with CAH is only 3 months old so I am not really an expert on this subject but I will throw in my two cents anyway. When my first child (he doesn't have cah) was born we put him in bed with us for the first two weeks. Like your baby he squirmed all night and none of us got much sleep. I finally started putting him in his crib and was very surprised at how much better he slept. Apparently the family bed didn't work for him either. Since your baby is 6 months old it might not be so easy but it's worth a try. Everyone I know who has let their babies "cry it out" has had their baby sleeping through the night in 3 days or less. (A long weekend would be a good time to start this project). I wouldn't stress dose for this situation. And yes, definately learn how to give the injection. Cindy
