It's about two subjets I would like to tell you my experiencies. About sleeping in the parents bed: We have 4 sons between 7 years and 8 months and everyone slept in our bed in the beginning. The oldest one chose very claerly at the age of 2 years that he wanted his own bed. The second one (5 years old) still doesn't want to sleep alone. The 2 years old son sleeps alone since he has his sleeping- bag. And the baby (that's the one with CAH) sleeps with me. That's our situation, but it's okay for all of our family. I think that the most important thing is not how you sleep (who sleeps in which bed) but that the sleeping- situation is okay for the whole family. The second thing is the salt- wasting: We have a very good, quite old endo who even wrote about CAH in medical books. He told me that our youngest son is probably not salt- wasting, but that he would like him to take Florinf in a minimal dose for the first two years, because for babies it's a big problem if they are ill and vomiting, loosing liquid and salt, and it would be better for the baby not to have a too big crisis.
