angela: our grandson was put on pill form of all his medications including his sodium tablets when he was 9 months old because the liquid form was his meds were not being absorbed into his system adequately. we started crushing all the pills together, for each dosing, 3 x a day and put the crushed pills in strawberry flavored applesauce. he only started swallowing his pills whole when he turned 5. he is 6 now. he took the flavored applesauce very well. i wouldn't hurt to try this with your daughter.
