Hi, I am 32 years old and was diagnosed with CAH when I was 4. I stopped taking my medication (prednisone) when I was in my early 20's. I am trying to make an appointment with an edocrinologist in the next few weeks. Is there anybody else out there who has discontinued medication or asked about it. I do have a hard time getting over sickness and sometimes have panic attacks which result in insomnia. I know it sounds strange to quit taking medicine but when I was 18 Children's Hospital wanted me to find an endocronologist to meet with but I did not have insurance and days turned to weeks and weeks to years. Any information would be helpful. Thank You.
