The most important thing: ALWAYS HAVE THE SOLU-CORTEF WITH YOU AT ALL TIMES. if case of an injury or illness with a fever over 102...and/or vomiting. Triple the liquid or oral cortef for a fever over 101 but a higher fever over 101 will require an injection of cortef (solu-cortef). Any fever for a baby under 3 months - give the injection and go to hospital. Don't wait and think the ER or hospital will give it on time because it could be too late then. Give the injection within 30 minutes or death and shock will occur. ALWAYS have the solu-cortef on hand!!!
