When my child was born with CAH we met with a genetic counselor. He said that about 1 in 50 people carry the recessive gene for CAH so if your husband has CAH your odds of having a child with CAH are about 1 in 100. I think it would be worthwhile to meet with a genetic counselor and get tested. Then if you are not a carrier (and you probably aren't) you won't have to worry about it anymore. Good luck! Cindy B
