I have a salt-wasting 18 mo. old son, so I am not the best source, but . . . My son's endo always checks the back of his neck/upper back area. I asked her what she was doing and she said that if he was overmedicated (he takes Cortef) he would develop a slight lump in that area. RE: the foggy headed feeling. This may be way off base (especially because I don't have any idea how old you are) but I know several women who swear they lost all intelligence (memory, concentration etc) several years before they started menopause. I guess it was due to the shift in hormones. I don't know enough about female hormones to hazard a guess as to how that could interact with CAH and medications but thought I would pass along the info. RE: headaches. Because my son is quite young we can't communicate well yet, but he does seem to get headaches (holds his head and gets very irritable). I, like Deb L., have found that if I give him something to eat (typically sugary like juice or an apple) he seems to feel much better. Hope that helps.Chris D
