My 7 year old daughter was diagnosed with non-classical adrenal hyperplasia about 18 months ago. Since then she has been on cortef with what has appeared until now to be good results (ie, her hormonal levels appear to be under control and her bone age seemed okay). Unfortunately, I just heard from my endo's office that while her last blood test continued to show fine hormonal levels, her bone age had suddenly advanced almost two years in a six month period. I don't understand this and wonder if anyone else has had a similar experience. If so, what were you told about why this happened and what did your endo suggest doing. Thanks.Jen
