Re: Advancing bone age

We encountered this same problem when my daughter was younger. She also has non-classical CAH. At that time she was taking only Cortef, but the decision was made to add Florinef daily. When that was done her bone age advancement slowed dramatically. She was 4 at the time. Also, when she was 5 she tested positive for precocious puberty which can also affect bone age. She was put on monthly Lupron injections. When she was diagnosed, she was 3 with a 7 yr bone age which quickly advanced to 10. She was 11 yrs 3 months at her last bone age test and it was only 12.
