My son, salt wasting, age 14yrs & 9months, has lost about 5 pounds in the last 1.5 months. He is 5ft tall and only weighs 98 pounds. His evening dose of prednisone was cut in half about 2months ago, and since then his appetite seems to be decreasing. He is going to see his pediatrician tomorrow (Wed.) morning. Any input would be appreciated.
